These Terms of Service govern your use of Rovvy, a private planning app for friends and groups. By creating an account or using Rovvy, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Rovvy. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Rovvy only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Rovvy is not intended for children under 13.
Rovvy hides alcohol-related activity options until an account is 21 or older. You are responsible for following local laws, including alcohol, venue, event, transportation, and safety rules.
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in information secure. Use accurate account information and do not impersonate another person. You can delete your account from Profile → Delete Account.
Rovvy is for private planning with people you know. You are responsible for the statuses, plans, messages, photos, profile information, and other content you add. Do not post or send content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, invasive of someone else's privacy, sexually exploitative, hateful, or otherwise harmful.
Rovvy uses city/town-level and nearby signals to help friends make plans. It is not an emergency, safety, family-tracking, or precise location-tracking service. Exact locations are not shown to friends. You are responsible for choosing what to share and with whom.
You keep ownership of the content you add to Rovvy. You give Rovvy a limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, protect, and improve the app.
Do not misuse Rovvy. This includes trying to access another person's account, scraping the service, reverse engineering private APIs, interfering with the service, uploading malware, spamming users, or using Rovvy to stalk, harass, or harm anyone.
Rovvy may change, break, or be unavailable, especially during beta testing. Features and data may be changed or removed as the app develops. Do not rely on Rovvy as the only record of important plans.
We may suspend or terminate access if an account appears to violate these terms, creates risk for other users, or threatens the service. You may stop using Rovvy at any time and delete your account in the app.
Rovvy is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Rovvy and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of the app.
If you downloaded Rovvy through Apple TestFlight or the App Store, Apple's terms may also apply. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Rovvy.
We may update these terms as Rovvy changes. If the changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, TestFlight notes, or another appropriate channel. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
